PrintAustin’s whimsical masquerade evening provides a glimpse of the artists, galleries, and editioning shops exhibiting during our PrintEXPO. Tune in for a talk by Art Historian Dr. Karen Pope on the Art of Collecting at 8pm (ASL interpreter will be provided), and witness an unconventional collaboration between visual artist Ben Sorrell and dance artist Annelize Machado inspired by threads of ancient and contemporary history, art, and mythology at 8:45pm. Bid on your favorite works by EXPO artists during our Silent Auction, benefiting PrintAustin, and witness live printmaking demonstrations throughout the night to better understand the techniques that make up this art form. Creative cocktail attire and masks highly encouraged! $20 suggested donation.

PrintEXPO is PrintAustin’s annual print fair. On Saturday, February 1, 11am-5pm and Sunday, February 2, 11am-3pm purchase original artwork from regional and national talent, and flip through our bins of prints to add new work to your art collection. Experience live steamroller printing on Saturday, Feb 1, sponsored by Clay Imports and organized in partnership with Texas A&M University-Kingsville Dept. of Art, Communications and Theatre. Live printmaking demonstrations and activities will take place all weekend. This event is free and family-friendly.

During the PrintEXPO, pick up a much-needed caffeinated beverage from Clay Import's new coffee trailer, Clay Café, or fill up on a delicious meal by Arepa Dealers and The Hot Dog King, who will be on-site selling their creations.
